I am Olivia Jordan-Higgins, a 30 year old professional

golfer playing on the LPGA Symetra Tour, currently living in the United States. I was born in Jersey, a small Island off the coast of France, and lived there until I moved to South Carolina in 2006 to study Kinesiology at Charleston Southern University.

I have one brother called Patrick, and two sisters called Louise and Francine, and we come from a large family with relatives in Canada, Scotland, England and Ireland.

My Mum is my main support system and has always encouraged my love of sports – despite her having little golf knowledge when I first started!

My golfing talents were discovered at the age of 13 when I did a taster session during the summer holidays with my younger sister. While she preferred the crazy golf side to the game, I showed ability and strength, much to the dismay of the boys on the course.

As a Junior member at the Royal Jersey Golf Club, I won several Jersey, and Channel Island Championships, and held women’s course records on most of the courses in the Island. I was also part of the successful Hampshire County Team.

At 18, I went to University in Charleston, South Carolina, balancing my education with my golf – often finding myself in the gym at 5am before classes! I joined the college team and made wonderful friends with the girls and boys on my team. University was an amazing experience for me and I learnt so much about myself and my golf game.

In my final year at University, I won the Big South Championship as an individual, and as a team. After graduating, I played on the amateur circuit in the UK, and finished my Amateur career by winning the St. Andrews Junior Ladies Championship on the Old Course at St. Andrews.

Since turning professional in 2011, I have won 3 times on the LPGA Symetra Tour and had numerous top 10 finishes. I have been close to earning my LPGA card on quite a few occasions, with that goal still in mind today. I have recently been inducted into the Charleston Southern University Hall of Fame, as one of the most decorated women’s golfers to play on the team.

So this is my website, a diary of what I am doing and where I am going, my highs and lows and everything in between.

Above all this is an opportunity for anyone interested in golf to get a real insight into the game and join me on my professional journey.
