First of all, welcome to my new website! I decided it was time for a change, and I am very excited about it. I built it myself, with the help of my business savvy older sister. It’s taken a little while to do, but I’m really pleased with the outcome and I feel it’s been worth it. I will solely be running the website myself so feel free to contact me anytime.
This past year has been frustrating to say the least, hence why I’ve been quieter than usual. At times, I’ve really had nothing to say, which in itself is frustrating. Winning the first event of the season last year, was an accumulation of 18 months of hard work and dedication. It was great to feel rewarded, after struggling a little in 2016. However, having the back injury after that wasn’t ideal, but I have definitely learned some patience, and it’s also made me realize that I don’t need to play every event on the schedule in order to have a successful season. I’m glad 2017 is behind me, and I’m looking forward to a very successful season this year.
This off season I’ve been focusing on strengthening my core, and going to pilates and yoga a few times a week. It’s been great to get into a regular gym schedule, after not being able to work out for quite some time. I was able to spend 2 months at home in Jersey with my family. I got to spend a lovely Christmas at home, although the weather wasn’t ideal for practice. Sometimes it’s nice to get away from golf and get a little break. I worked hard on my mental game and fitness, when I wasn’t able to practice so I feel ready and raring to go. I’m really looking forward to getting this season underway, and it would be great to get started like I did last year, but more than anything I’m just going to love being back out there competing again!
I have decided to set up a fundraising page again this year with gofundme. The second event of the season is out in California, and I am going to combine it with seeing my coach Alison Curdt, for a few days to get some good work in. Due to last season, I was unable to see her at any point so it would be great to have a chance to work with her and make 2018 my most successful year yet. Please click here to help me in any way you can. Thank you.
I also became an auntie for the first time in February, and I was there to be able to welcome baby Malo into the world. She is beautiful and so cute (I will always be biased)! I’ve always looked forward to being an auntie and it’s even more special than I imagined. Although I think I’ll wait a few more before trying to get her into golf! As hard as it was to leave home, it was time to get back to work, and with technology nowadays I am able to get daily pictures and videos of Malo.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my website so far and please feel free to have another look around. I am going to be keeping you updated throughout the season, and be sure you follow me on my social media pages to keep up with me every day.
Thank you for your continued support. I’m looking forward to my best year yet.
